Ben is the Gandalf of Channelzero. After spending a few years travelling the world, he eventually ‘found himself’ and returned to Australia’s sunny shores to set up Channelzero in 2003. He has a wealth of knowledge across multiple industries, specialising in strategic marketing and communication solutions that generate serious ROI for our clients.

B. A. Baracas lookalike Franky started his career as a graphic designer. He flipped to the accounts side out of frustration, claiming he could “sell it better than these Muppets”, and thus helped launch Channelzero into agency land back in 2003. Franky is the all singing, all dancing, brand specialist, big picture guy and client’s best friend. And he sure as hell ain’t no fool.

Some people are intimidated when talking to large numbers of people in an entertaining way. Not Mikey. Trained as a lawyer (we don’t actually believe this and we don’t expect you to either), he has broad sales and marketing experience across multiple industry sectors and a track record of success in building businesses through innovative marketing. He also leads the execution of all experiential projects and good times.

Briony’s background in marketing and events and her Diploma in Business Marketing helped to quickly cement her spot as the backbone of the Channelzero experiential arm. She ventured overseas for a number of years gaining experience working for boutique events companies in the UK. Briony is the pepperoni to Mikey’s pizza.

Every day is a sunny day for Nicole. Nicole is the queen of managing multiple projects, her positive attitude and ability to meet deadlines makes her a favourite with clients everywhere.

Frankie dreamed of working as a chimney sweep as many of her South East London chums would, however after failing the notoriously difficult Chimney Sweep Entrance Program of 1989, she embarked on a career in media. Frankie studied in London and Los Angeles, to attain a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Studies. Since graduating, Frankie has worked in production and marketing houses across London’s infamous West End. After traveling the globe, Frankie has come to settle in beautiful Sydney and bringing a little cockney sparkle to Channelzero.

Rob had every intention of being the world’s greatest guitarist. Unfortunately his intentions were somewhat inhibited by a complete lack of musical talent. This led Rob to channel his creative impulses to become the world’s greatest creative chap. With over 14 years experience, Rob has made his mark on the design landscape working with some of Australia's most recognised brands.

Hailing from Australia's handbag, New Zealand, Chris has fled across the ditch to greener pastures, bringing a wealth of technical knowledge and a keen eye for motion design. With more than 7 years experience across both agencies and studios, as well as several stints freelancing, Chris is the go-to-guy for all things motion. When not dabbling with computers and 'rendering', he can generally be found out and about researching pointless facts, cavorting around the streets with his skateboarding 'bros', and being a social nuisance. No sheep jokes required

Mel is the most honest person in this industry and is intensely passionate about her craft and giving the client the ultimate creative work. With more than 10 years of industry experience, Mel has a flair for conceptual campaigns, branding, direct marketing, packaging and website design – just about everything really.

No one really understands what Richo does but if he’s happy, we’re happy. Richard has been tinkering with computers since birth. He majored in Computer Science at Macquarie University and prior to joining Channelzero, ran his own IT business for over 9 years. Richard runs Digital as efficiently as his Ultimate Frisbee team.

Ever since taking up an Internet computing diploma, his interests grew in making 'cool' web applications. Often wonders how he ended up in IT but have since found the perfect marriage between design and IT in front end development. After graduating with a Computer Science Degree in UNSW, Elvin decided to escape the humidity of South East Asia for the four seasons of the pacific in search of barista coffee, beautiful beaches and cheap beers. A football fanatic who breathes, talks and lives football. His other job includes, daydreaming of playing for Manchester United.

Dodging leprechauns and faeries, and sick of the gloomy Irish weather, David made the move from the Emerald Isle to Sydney, and has been getting sunburnt ever since. An avid fan of potatoes and Guinness, David joins Channel Zero with a Bachelor of Computer Science, and over 5 years commercial experience as a web and software developer. Just listen to his accent, ladies. We needn't say more...

Angel likes long walks on the beach, lying in front of open fires and following Franky everywhere he goes. She had a rough start to life, abandoned in a carpark before Staffy Rescue found her. Franky then adopted her as a tiny, scrawny and undernourished 9 week old pup. After numerous protein shakes and real food, she filled out quite nicely. Angel is to be found under Franky’s desk – welcoming frightened couriers, dropping a rope on people’s laps and sneaking under the board room table when she is not allowed into meetings.

Matt completed his Bachelor of Business with a Marketing Major and left Australia to pursue an opportunity in Dubai. He returned home to Australia after gaining experience with a sports marketing agency working on various sporting events and now claims he is ‘mates’ with Roger Federer! Better known as Paddington Bear around the office more for the jacket he wears rather than his teddy-like looks. We are all excited about the addition of Matt to the CZ Team.

In her first year at Channel Zero Jade has morphed herself from all-round Super Intern to established Account Exec. Leaving London in search of bigger and sunnier things, Jade completed an Advertising and Public Relations degree that has equipped her to bring the best of British talent to Channel Zero. Between keeping Team GB alive in the CZ offices with her patriotism to the mother country and her never waning accent she's a personality that’s hard to miss.

“You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl” Sophie hails from a small country town called Narromine, she made the move to Sydney at the ripe age of 15 years to attend boarding school. Apparently Stephen had a premiership-winning career with the Newcastle Knights. It left his body battered but mind intact, so he did what no self-respecting footy player would do and went back to school. Masters degrees in Communications and HR followed, as did a career in PR, communications and general management. A wizard in strategic brand communications, (without the robe obviously) he is an influencer and all round action man. Crowey heads up our newly established Newcastle business with a passion that has left us worried about his long term health.

Kiah is the baby of Channelzero; raised by a pack of televisions she loves advertising more than any normal person should. By the age of 20, a career path in graphic design was obvious. So, after graduating from a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications, she came knocking on Channelzero’s door with her little book of kooky ideas and illustrative type. She’s a hard worker with a Caramello Koala center and ridiculously long eyelashes.

Evan is a graphic designer, creative thinker and overall nice guy. He has completed a Bachelor of Design (Honours) at the College of Fine Arts (UNSW) as well as the Shillington Masterclass. With five years of studying, over three years experience in the industry & zero years jail time, it's safe to say design is his calling.
